Geek Synergy

I am reading David Koenig's Mouse Talesand I ran across a great passage from pages 30-31 about the Monsanto House of the Future:

The home was also incredibly durable. Nine years later, the demolition crew tried to tear down the by-then-outdated structure--and couldn't. When the wrecking ball hit it, it kept bouncing off. The workers finally had to use blow torches to cut it into sections before hauling it away.
I though the post was quite fitting since Davelandblog is in the midst of a Monsanto blowout!

By this time, my little geeklets, you should all know the drill. Stop by Davelandblog and give him some Disney Geek love (and leave us some comments, too!).

Some have dismissed the "bounce" story as just that; a story and not truth. However, they sure poured a heck of a lot of concrete for the base/foundation, and you can still see that big ol' block where Ariel’s Gardens are.
