The home was also incredibly durable. Nine years later, the demolition crew tried to tear down the by-then-outdated structure--and couldn't. When the wrecking ball hit it, it kept bouncing off. The workers finally had to use blow torches to cut it into sections before hauling it away.I though the post was quite fitting since Davelandblog is in the midst of a Monsanto blowout!

Some have dismissed the "bounce" story as just that; a story and not truth. However, they sure poured a heck of a lot of concrete for the base/foundation, and you can still see that big ol' block where Ariel’s Gardens are.
