An Occasional Bald Eagle

In an earlier post, I scanned the first pages from a guidebook about the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course that I found in the Pro Shop.

This image is a complete view of the LBV Golf Course. Notice the Clubhouse? I posted about the pool that no longer exists next to the Clubhouse.

Hole One
An occasional Bald Eagle can be seen searching the lake to the left of the fairrway. A natural wetland borders both side of the hole.
The artwork for the guide is really fantastic considering the $4.00 price tag. I may be a professional duffer, but I can still appreciate the beauty and the design of this course!

Awesome find! What's really cool about it is that this is the course where I did indeed spot a bald eagle.

We had just finished the 5th hole and were on the 6th tee, waiting for the fairway to clear up when we noticed a beautiful bald eagle was wading in the water adjacent to the bank of the 5th green. Just gorgeous and there was not a soul around. It was very majestic.

Usually the Magnolia is the course where you see the most wildlife: deer, wild turkeys, armadillos, rabbits, raccoons, skunks & squirrels. You can even overhear the howling of a nearby wolf (from the Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion).

Love golfing at the Walt Disney World Resort!
